Mary Thompson Photographer offers our Customers the right to choose to purchase prints, print packages digital images and photography goods, obligation free.

By choosing to purchase any product from our website marythompsonphoto.com.au you as our Customer, agree to our Terms and Conditions stated below:

As a customer you are responsible for understanding this upon purchasing any item at our site.

Payment Options

Mary Thompson Photographer accepts payments by Credit Card and online payments using Third Party Credit Card Processing service providers such as:

• Square
• eWAY

Customers may choose their preferred platform on the checkout page.

Shipping Services

Mary Thompson Photographer may use Third Party Shipping Services to deliver your package/s. Once your package is delivered to the Shipping Company, delivery can take from 1 ~ 3 weeks to arrive at your nominated address depending on your regional location. It’s possible that your package may take longer than 3 weeks to arrive - in this case you must inform our Customer Service Department by email or phone - we will investigate your order and the determine what the issue may be - if it is deemed that your package has gone missing in the delivery process and your supplied address is confirmed to be correct - Mary Thompson Photographer will replace your order and re-ship the replacement order free of charge.

Mary Thompson Photographer has no control over shipping times or delivery delays due to shipping to remote locations.

It is your sole responsibility to provide Mary Thompson Photographer with a Correct and Valid Shipping Address - if you do not provide us with correct or valid shipping information - your package may not arrive, be delayed or be returned as undeliverable.

Mary Thompson Photographer is not able to re-ship packages free of charge when a Customer supplies us with incorrect or invalid information.

Mary Thompson Photographer reserves the right to charge a reprocessing and shipping fee to send your package to a corrected address for the second time.

Refund Policy

Mary Thompson Photographer does not offer Refunds on Digital Files already shipped since there is no way to prove that all copies or versions have been deleted or destroyed.

Due to the nature of digital photography and the fact that photographs, once sent, cannot be returned; Mary Thompson Photographer has a strict NO REFUNDS POLICY. Once a transaction has been completed (i.e., the buyer selected and paid for the photo and then Mary Thompson Photographer sent the buyer the correct photograph) it is then considered non-refundable.

Refunds will NOT be given due to “not liking a photo”, selecting an incorrect photo after the buyer has already received the photograph, or any other reason.

In general Mary Thompson Photographer does not offer Refunds on any Products that we sell on our online website marythompsonphoto.com.au. However, we realize that exceptional circumstances can take place with regard to the character of the product we supply.

Therefore, we DO consider requests for a Refund based on the following reasons:

Damaged Goods - if you receive your package and your order is damaged in anyway - we will ask you to take a proof photo and send it to us for assessment. In the case of Damaged Goods - Mary Thompson Photographer will always REPLACE your order before a Refund will be issued. We may ask you to place your order again through our Online System and once your new order is placed - at this time only we will Refund the original order.

Major defects: although all the products we offer are thoroughly tested before release, unexpected errors may occur. Such issues must be submitted to us to be accessed. We keep the right to rectify the error or defect within a reasonable time frame. If any deficiency is approved and we fail to correct it in a reasonable time from the date of the initial complaint or any other notification provided by a Customer, the refund will be issued to the customer in full without any compensations or reimbursements. OR, at customer’s choice, replacement of the product of the same or around the same value can be offered.

Product not-as-described: such issues should be reported to us within 7 days from the date of the purchase. Clear evidence must be provided proving that the purchased product is not as it is described on the website. Complaints which are based merely on the customer’s false expectations or wishes are not honored. Sample product images with descriptions are clearly displayed on our website for pre-purchase selection. Images and Products are subject to change at any time. Once an order is approved and finalized by a Customer it is assumed by Mary Thompson Photographer that the Customer has thoroughly checked all details of all products in their order.

Please note that we do not bear any responsibility and therefore we do not satisfy any refund/return/exchange requests based on the following reasons:

You have changed your mind and longer want to keep your order.

Mary Thompson Photographer will not refund, nor accept the return of/refusal to pay charges for, any technically acceptable photograph supplied either in print or in electronic format. No exception can be made, as we cannot be held responsible for individual tastes or exceptions.

You supply us with incorrect delivery information that results in your order being returned as undeliverable. Shipping services incur fees each time they are used. It is your sole responsibility to provide us with a correct and valid address - failing to do so will result in packages being delayed, returned as undeliverable and additional fees charged to re-process, repackage and re-ship to your corrected address. Requesting for a Refund for packages delayed due to incorrect or invalid information being supplied will be declined.

Policies

All prints and products are subject to your state sales tax and shipping when applicable.

Due to the nature of custom photography, all sales are final.

Mary Thompson Photographer does, of course, guarantee that the portraits you receive meet the highest standards in every respect.

Mary Thompson Photographer endeavors to respond to all enquiries within a 3 business day time frame - due to the nature of our location schedule and peak time seasons - it may take us longer to respond.

Requests for a refund are accepted by email mary@marythompson.com.au within the period of 24 hours after your order is placed. You should accompany this request with detailed and grounded reasons as to why you are applying for a refund.

Please make sure your request does not contradict our Terms and Conditions.
